It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geary G. Schafer of Gorham, Kansas, who passed away on October 31, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Elmer Schafer and Esther I. Schafer (Nuss); his former life partner Judith Arlene Dumler; his son Tracy Schafer; and his granddaughter Jenna Schafer.
He is survived by : his wife Iris Schafer; his children, Tonya Cullen (Jeffrey) of Gorham, Kansas and Terry Schafer of Salina, Kansas; and his siblings, Robert Schafer and Roberta Hupfer (Jim Mermis) of Gorham, Kansas. He is also survived by 5 grandkids and 6 great grandkids.
