She was predeceased by: her father William Chambers, Sr.; her stepfather Robert Ewing; her stepbrother Gary Ewing; and her niece Jill Chambers. She is survived by: her mother Jean Ewing (Turner); her husband Gerald Arlon "J. P." Postlethwaite; her children, Joel Postlethwaite (Jeri) of Great Bend and Dena Popp (Rick) of Great Bend; her brothers, Frank Chambers (Alice) and Bill Chambers of Wichita; her stepsiblings, Doug Ewing (Jalayne) of Ellinwood, Sandy Parrett of Larned and Terri Sue Kohls (Kent) of Great Bend; and her grandchildren, Kelci Popp, Jace Postlethwaite, Brody Postlethwaite, Lance Popp (Jessica) and Trey Popp. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home (1425 S Patton Rd, Great Bend, KS 67530). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM.
