Esther Fay Sayler Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Esther Fay Sayler (Great Bend, Kansas), who passed away on July 26, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Esther Fay departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Esther Fay may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Esther Fay leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Deckert (Maxwell) and Bennie Deckert. She is survived by: her children, Andrea Sayler-Siefkes (Jon) and Arthur Maxwell Sayler IV (Max) of Atchison, Kan.; her husband Arther M. Sayler III of Albert; her brother Warren Deckert (Denise) of Kansas City; and her siblings-in-law, Marylou Turner of Kansas City, MO and Donald Schultz of Overland Park, KS.. She is also survived by children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home (1425 S Patton Rd, Great Bend, KS 67530). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Meal and Fellowship.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Family Crisis Center, in care of Bryant Funeral Home, 1425 Patton Rd., Great Bend, KS 67530.
