He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Sr. Peters and Donna Peters (Rogers); and his brother-in-law Mark Davis. He is survived by: his wife Jolene Rae Orebaugh Housman; his stepsons, Duayne Housman (Lori) of Brashear and Casey Housman (Sabrena) of St. Joseph; his sisters, Marla Dale (David) of Lexington, Lynn Cherry (Greg) of Edmond, Janet Schmidt (Mike) of Portland, Oreg, Susan Davis of Wichita and Gloria Turner of Tex; his grandchildren, Hayden Housman (Katie), Skylar Schumann (Matthew), Garrett Housman, Avery Housman and Hudson Housman; his great grandchild Cam Schumann; his aunt Carol Kruetzer of Nebraska; and his nephew Chris Dale.
A memorial service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First Southern Baptist Church (3301 19th St, Great Bend, KS 67530).
