She was predeceased by : her parents, Byrd Hardy and Alta Hardy (Dunn); her husband Ron Pershing; and her son Shawn Mourning. She is survived by : her sister Nancy Hardy.

A graveside service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery (500 E Pennsylvania Ave, Greensburg, KS 67054).
