He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Skaggs and Claudine Skaggs (Werner); and his wife Charlene Sue Richardson. He is survived by: his sons, Clinton Skaggs (Heather), Curt Skaggs, Chad Skaggs (Stephanie) and Clayton Skaggs; his grandchildren, Hayden Skaggs and Delaney Hart (Preston); his sons, Slater Skaggs, Janae Skaggs, Colton Skaggs and Jocelyn Skaggs; and his great grandchild Olive Hart.
