She was predeceased by: her parents, William Steinkuehler and Ella Steinkuehler (Hartman); her daughter Carla Krause; her sister Violet Highbarger; and her nephew Brent Barclay.
She is survived by: her husband Earl Krause of Hays; her son Brett Krause (Robin) of Parkville, MO; and her sisters, Carol Barclay of Overland Park and Betty Forbes of Concordia, MO. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and actively involved with funeral dinners, altar care, donation drives, and was in charge of the women's group.
