With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edna Bernice Frenzl of Hays, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 23, 2025 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Kolste and Mable Kolste (Rolland); her husband Lawrence "Larry" Frenzl; her granddaughter Ashly Frenzl; and her siblings, Donald Kolste (Marjorie), Robert Kolste, Leona Koller, Betty Lang (Al), Eva Paul (Willard) and Donna Kolste.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Frenzl (Jane Rajewski) of Hays, KS, Ronald Frenzl (Donna) of Olathe, KS, Susan Miller (Kenneth) of Hays, KS and Betty Hrabe (Kenny) of Stockton, KS; her granddaughter Amy Feldt (Cory); her children, Paul Houser, Sherry Wellbrock (Cory), Shawn Miller (Rebecca), Amber Miller-Peck (Eli) and Alicia Post (Derek); and her pet Hays V. F. W.. She is also survived by her 13 great grandchildren; her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (1919 E 22nd St, Hays, KS 67601). A rosary will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
