He is survived by : his mother Jan Lawler of Russell; his wife Tracy Lynn Dinges of Hays; his children, Colton Mai of Hays, Trenton Mai of Schoenchen, Brandon Mai of Concordia and Peyton Mai of Hays; his parents-in-law, Marlene Sloan (Howard) of Hays and Thomas Dinges (Susan) of Schoenchen; his sister Jana Mai of Urbandale, IA; his nieces and nephews, Calvin, Olivia and Chase; his siblings-in-law, Cole Dinges (Stephanie) of Schoenchen and Tashia Becker (Robert) of Hays; his nieces and nephews, Tressa, Omar and Lane; and his sisters-in-law, Alissa Hammerschmidt (Travis) of Gorham and Amanda Brown (Chad) of Hays.
