He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean Elmer and Georgia Mae Cooley (Schwab). He is survived by: his wife Connie Rose of Hays, KS; his sons, Brandon (Sarah) of Hays, KS and Gabriel (Christine) of Sonoma, CA; and his sister Fran Payne of Mississippi. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
