He is survived by: his former spouse Glennis Carpenter; his daughter Anne of Lincoln, Neb.; his sister Marvel Nelson of Blacksburg; and his great-niece Patty Eickhoff (Dale) of Natoma, Kan.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
