He was predeceased by: his parents, Shelley Austin and Helen Gwendolyn Nease (Shearer); and his siblings, Robert Nease, Alma Robinson, Blanche Larson, Gladys Cripe, Virginia Coen, Barbara Cook and Marilyn Lewis.

He is survived by: his former wife Constance Davis; his children, Susan Bartlett (Kirby), Daniel Nease and Michael Nease (Wendy); and his grandchildren, Ashley, Kristen, Samuel and Gabriel.
