He was predeceased by: his parents, John Fredrick W. and Darlene S. Thiede (Witter); his brothers, Justin Thiede and Walter "Wally" Thiede; his sister-in-law Kim Thiede; his nephews, Jay Thiede, Trent Thiede and Evan "Bubba" Bancroft; and his niece Dallas Thiede.
He is survived by: his wife Cassie Thiede (Miller); his children, JT Thiede (Kalesha Ellis) of Burlington, CO, Cody Thiede (Anna) of Victoria, KS and Tiffanie Rohr (Nathan) of Hays, KS; his siblings, Glen Thiede (Sheryl) of Midas, NV, Charlayne Bancroft (Vona), Evone Waggoner (Gregg) of Quinter, KS, Kristine Richardson (Eric) of Burlington, CO, Paulette Thompson (Rod) of Stratton, CO and Debra Thiede (Danny Hill); and his grandchildren, Lauraine Evans Thiede and Delilah Rose Thiede. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
