It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melba Jean Stos in Hays, Kansas, born in Olmitz, Kansas, who passed away on July 8, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Nordman and Augusta Nordman (Springer); her husband Leo Stos, Sr.; her children-in-law, Fritz Lang and Mona Stos; and her sister Alice Oborny.
She is survived by: her children, Aggie Lang of Salina, Shari Miller (Maynard) of Great Bend, Lou Ann Legleiter (Norman) of Liebenthal, Betty Miller of Great Bend, Leo Stos, Jr. of Great Bend, Charlotte of Great Bend, Gene Stos (Kristi) of Great Bend and Steve Stos of Great Bend; and her siblings, Maurice Nordman of Great Bend, Norma Knight (Margie Purdy) of Wichita and Fifteen. She is also survived by Fifteen grandchildren; and twenty-seven great grandchildren.
