He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Catlin and Ruby Catlin; his brothers, Leonard and Eddie Catlin; and his grandson Jacob Wesley Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jefferis; his children, Todd Catlin and Jana Smith (James Dewitt); his siblings, Lloyd Catlin and Patsy Whitehead (Bill); his sister-in-law Carolyn Catlin Robertson; his granddaughters, Nicole Briggs (Cody), Morgan McDonald (Aaron) and Samantha Siler (Justin); and his great grandchildren, Kael, Olivia and Kynlee. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lanman Funeral Home on behalf of the family.
