With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Frieden of Hazelton, Kansas, who passed away on May 25, 2021 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jeff Frieden and Frieda Farney Frieden; his wife Mildred Gale Daughhetee of Hazelton, Kansas.; his children, David Frieden (MJ) of Las Vegas, Janice Bahr (Jeff) of Hazelton and Danny Frieden of Stillwater, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Cara Neal of Redondo Beach, Cody Frieden (Bretina) of Tulsa, Stephanie Rinkenberger (Joel) of Bluffton, Kelly Frieden (Tiffany) of Stillwater, Tifani Leman (Jake) of Aurora, Brett Frieden (Bailey) of Stillwater and Chelsie Jones (Lee) of Seoul; his great grandchildren, Cameron, Marcos, Aron, Diego, Cruz, Ithan, Eric, Conner, Cyrus, Maya, Baby Leman, Rylee, Walker, Olivia and Audrey; and his siblings, Jim Frieden (Peg) of Hurst, Jeff Frieden (Deb) of Howard, Kansas, Helen Farney of Ft. Scott, Rose Ann Reeves of Wichita and Marilyn Groom of Corbett.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the local VFW in Kiowa through the funeral home.
