He was predeceased by : his parents, Mathias Floersch and Rosa Floersch (Baumchen); his wife Jean; his son Jim Floersch; his grandson Matthew Floersch; and his siblings, Rosemary McCoy, Gene Floersch, Margaret Glick, Regina Storck, Louise Ronsee and Joe Floersch.

He is survived by : his children, Frances, Bernice Altenhofen (Craig) of Junction City, Francie Falk (John) of Leona, Jean Frank (Steve) of Colony, Janice McPherson (Richard) of Clarksburg and Matt Floersch (Elizabeth) of Goodlettsville, Tennessee; and his daughter-in-law Sandy Floersch-Toothman of Osawatomie, Kansas. He is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren and thirty-five great grandchildren.
