It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlene Ella Pankratz in Hillsboro, Kansas, who passed away on October 28, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her mother Leah Hamm (Schuber) of Durham, Kansas.; her husband Paul Pankratz; her daughter Sherilyn Kadel; her brother Gaylord Hamm (Paul); her father William "Bill"; her brother-in-law Oliver Mohn; her nephew Bob Haug; and her great-nephew Christian Mohn.
She is survived by : her children, Ken Pankratz of Durham and Donna Diener (Tim) of Hillsboro; her son-in-law David Kadel (Jean) of Randall; her siblings, Marcella Mohn of Hillsboro and Gus Hamm (Mildred) of Hillsboro; her granddaughters, Jennifer Price (Jeff) of Arvada, CO, Holly Burleson (John) of Oklahoma City, OK, Emily Nichols (Kent) of Hesston and Marissa Slief (Shane) of Wichita; her great grandchildren, Austin, Alex, Ashton Price, Olivia Foster, Jack, Claire Nichols and Hudson Slief; and her sisters-in-law, Valera Hamm of Durham and Althea Zimmerman of Weaubleau, MO.. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the Durham Baptist Church or Parkside Homes.
