He was loved and cherished by many people including : his father Gaylord Norman; his children, Ruth Ann Stevens of Sanford, Georgia, Dana Deon Hamilton of Wichita and Rahn William Carlson of St. Paul, MN; his sisters, Elizabeth Ann Armbrister, Doris Jean Sheats, Velma Sue Kelly, Jane Lorene Foster and Mary Alice Kelley; his wife Betty Norman; his mother Lorene "Frields" Norman (Frields); his daughters, Elizabeth Ann, Doris Jean and Velma Sue; his former life partner Laura Sandrock; his daughter Betty Jeanne Norman of Alpharetta; and his significant other Betty Gossen Carlson. He was also cherished by 6 grandchildren.
