With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Byron J Washington-Urbano of Holton, Kansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He is survived by: his parents, Stephen T. Urbano of Tacoma, WA and Snovia Kunkleman (Washington); his stepfather Darrell Kunkleman; his siblings, Jazlynn Washington-Urbano and Jakari Washington-Urbano; his grandparents, Naomi Gallisath and Timothy Washington of Holton, KS; his uncle Timothy Washington of Lee's Summit, MO; his grandparents, Marcelino, Jr. and Donna Urbano of Tacoma, WA; his uncle Marcelino Urbano, III of Tacoma, WA; and his aunt Margaret Batista of Tacoma, WA. He is also survived by extended family, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mercer Funeral Home (1101 W 4th St, Holton, KS 66436). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (404 Juniper Dr, Holton, KS 66436). The inurnment will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at the Holton Cemetery (11999 Highway K16, Holton, KS 66436).
