He was predeceased by: his parents, Mattie Louise Altenburg (Shirley) and George Altenburg; and his siblings, Barbara Simmons, Richard and John Altenburg.
He is survived by: his wife Geralin Altenburg; his children, Darin Altenburg (Kristi) of Holton, KS and Kimberly Jo Clark (Terry) of Holton, KS; his grandchildren, Taygen, Logan Altenburg, Xoe and Xavier Clark; his stepgrandchildren, Katie Clark (Brian Fragoso), Dacey Clark and Ryon Clark; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Natali and Norah Fragoso; and his siblings, Sarah Stokke of Valley Springs, SD, Dorothy Smith of Swansboro, NC and Larry Shirley (Kathy) of St. Joseph, MO. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
