It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Lierz of Holton, Kansas, born in Seneca, Kansas, who passed away on March 10, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Lierz and Bertha Bergman Lierz; and his siblings, Elmer Lierz, Lester Lierz, Verness Lierz, Cleta Mae Hammes and Marceil Rottinghaus.
He is survived by: his wife Ethel Brokamp; his children, Colleen Hill (Russ) of Round Rock, TX, Tim Lierz (Stacie) of Topeka and Doug Lierz (Donna) of Topeka; his sister Eileen Sudbeck; and his grandchildren, Angie, Matt, Mallory, Dalton, Dylan and Caedyn. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
