He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Hill and Geneva Lockwood Hill; his siblings, Joellen West, Doris, Barbara Hill, Bud, John and Bill Hill; and his grandsons, Chad Ward, Charles Hill II and Floyd Shaffer.
He is survived by: his wife Violet Earline Ellis; his children, Charles Hill (Shondi) of Topeka, KS, Cleveland Cartmill (Robin) of Holton, KS, Lee Cartmill of Topeka, KS, Roxanna Lewis of Topeka, KS, Gena Aldana (Carlos) of Las Vegas, NV, Jera Hill of Las Vegas, NV and Genny Clarkson (Robert) of Cleburne, TX; and his brothers, Lonnie Hill of Oklahoma and James Hill of California. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
