It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Schumaker (Holton, Kansas), born in Whiting, Kansas, who passed away on January 14, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Augustus and Ethel Frances Eames (Woodward); her great-grandparents, C. A. Eames and D. O. Woodward; her spouse Willie G. Schumaker; her siblings, Willard Eames, Frank Eames, Mildred Bussler and Pauline Finger; her children, Dennis Schumaker (Gay) of Whiting and Debbie Schumaker of Holton; her siblings, Alma McKinney of Port St and Donald Eames (Maralea) of Jenks, OK; her grandchildren, Samuel Schumaker (Christi) of Whiting, Emmett Schumaker (Morgan) of Whiting and Kallie Kirk (Derek) of Holton; her great grandchildren, Madison, Addyson, Comyn, Aiden, Kara, Declan, Annistyn and Ledger; and her sister-in-law Marjorie Eames of Falls City, NE. She was also cherished by 16 nieces and nephews.
