It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nelda Frances White (Holton, Kansas), born in Hill City, Kansas, who passed away on October 24, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Ivan (Bud) and Ruth Pauline Hetzel (Knouf); her brother Doyle Hetzel; her sister-in-law Carolyn Hetzel; her sister Della Evenson; and her son-in-law Keith Slayton.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis White (Joni) of Holton, Kathy Slayton of Marshall, TX, Denise White and Cathy Marten (David) of Onaga, KS.; her sisters, Ruth McGuire (Oliver) of Mulkilteo, WA and Robie Harries (Jim) of WaKeeney, KS.; her sister-in-law Marlene Zimmerman (Alan) of Wichita, KS.; her grandchildren, Roddy Muncey, Tina Mathos (Scott), David Marten II (Danielle), Nanci Kennedy (Jacob), Kennedy White, Annie Marten and Joey Marten; and her great grandchildren, Allie, Aaron Mathos, Mya Marten, Stella, Violet and Mabel Kennedy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
