He was predeceased by : his parents, Christopher Martin and Mildred Martin (Winter); his former life partner Lois Bruton; his wife Violet Marie Fletchell-Blackburn; and his sisters, Connie Lay, Rosemary Lester and Catherine Martin.
He is survived by : his children, Judy Hinman (Wade) of Mayetta, KS, Chuck Martin of Topeka, KS, Lanna Kellnhofer (Bill) of Lawrence, KS, Belinda Hopkins (Mel) of Georgia and Debbie Collins of Hoyt, KS; his stepsons, James K. Blackburn (Diane) of Parsons, KS and Gary D. Blackburn (Cynthia) of Topeka, KS; and his sister Darlene Morgans of Olathe, KS. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
