Vera Lucile Shaw Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera Lucile Shaw (Holton, Kansas), who passed away on April 24, 2020, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Earl and Ida Mae "Summerfelt" Irwin; her husband Joseph Howard Shaw; her stepmother Pearl Tosh Irwin Hower; her brothers, George, Earl, Dale, Clarence and Kenneth; and her stepsisters, Lora Dixon, Eula Colle, Marjorie Goldsberry and Wanda Bartsch.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Jones, Nancy Ulrich (Dan) and Sarah Phillips (George); and her sister-in-law Mary Lou Irwin. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 1 Great-great-grandchild; and many nieces & nephews.
Memorials may be given to the American Bible Society or Holton Community Hospital c/o Mercer Funeral Home.
