She was predeceased by : her husband Jewell Walden; her parents, Dewey Burkepile and Ruth Burkepile (Moats); her sister Kathryn Apel; and her siblings-in-law, Joan Larson, Kathleen Cooper and Ted Cooper.

She is survived by : her children, Kathi Hujing (Monty) of Cincinnati, Karen Hujing (Randy) of Whitewater and Jim Walden (Connie) of Hoxie; and her brothers-in-law, Adrian Apel of Topeka and Harold Larson of Hurst. She is also survived by eleven Grandchildren, twenty-six Great-Grandchildren, and one Great-Great Grandchild.
