He is survived by: his mother Germaine Weis (Kruse) of Colby, Kansas; his wife Verna "Jane" Hake of Hoxie, Kansas; his children, Dennis Weis (Tami) of Parker, Colorado, Chris Breinig (Steve) of Hays and Melissa Weis (Cindy) of DeLeon, Texas; his siblings, Norbert Weis of Hoxie, Frank Weis (Ester) of Akron, Colorado, Dolores Mauck (Roger) of Hoxie, Jane Fleming (Jim) of Lindsborg, Joan Long (Carl) of Missouri, Jean Cech (Joe) of Goodland and Rose Weis of Round Rock, Texas; and his grandchildren, Jordan Breinig and Riley Weis.
