She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Bradford and Marie Wiltse Bradford; her husband Floyd Leo Ladd of Humboldt, KS; and her siblings, Virginia Stone (Carl), Lois Erickson (Lynn), Berniece Johnson (Mark) and Lee Bradford.

She is survived by: her sons, Alan Ladd (Christy) of Atlantic and Bruce Ladd (Nina) of Shawnee, Kansas.; her great grandchildren, Brian Ladd (Jillian), Hannah, Henry and Ruth of Overland Park, Kansas; her grandchildren, Eric Ladd (Jill), Kinley, Brooke of Topeka, Kansas, Drew Ladd (Kate), Landon, Annie, Caroline of Overland Park, Kansas, Candace Ladd (Larry Wantroba), Anna Ladd (John Michael LaSalle) and Mara of Washington, D. C.; and her sister-in-law Carol Bradford. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church-Chanute (202 S Lincoln Ave, Chanute, KS 66720).

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to the Kansas 4-H Foundation, Chanute First United Methodist Church or Humboldt Food Pantry.
