She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Taylor and Viola Taylor (Winston); her husband Donald L. Cheney; her great grandchild Jayden Cheney; and her siblings, Ella Mae Taylor, Martha Taylor, Amanda Eason, Alice Jean Stewart, Booker Wright, Andrew Taylor, Arch Taylor, Elijah, Eli Taylor and John Melvin Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Alice (Neal) of Washington, Gail Cheney, Sheila VanNice (Jesse) and Craig Cheney (Crystal); and her siblings, Mary Carter, Edna Brown and Nelson Taylor. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren.
