He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Wedel and Earlene Marie Wedel (Prichard). He is survived by: his children, Mark Wedel (Katie), Melanie Wedel (Derrick Vandenbos), Kimberly Keyser (Shane) and Roy Hodges (Hiedi); his grandchildren, Andrew Keyser, Quinton Fenske, Tyler Hodges, Zachary Keyser, Ian Wedel and Sarah Hodges; and his siblings, Harold Wedel (Cathy) and Barbara Johnson (Frank). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association or Cancer Council of Reno County, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
