He was predeceased by : his father Glenn Cooper. He is survived by : his mother Sally Cooper of Osborne; his wife Erema Cooper; his brothers, Larry Cooper (Mart) of Ponca City and Lynn Cooper (Carol) of Osborne, Kansas; his sons, Chris Cooper (Charlene) of Hutchinson and Scott Cooper (Amanda) of Columbia, Missouri; his stepchildren, Tammy Powell of Winfield, Jimmie Claphan (Jill) of Wichita and Amanda Topinka (Cale) of Rose Hill, Kansas; and his grandchildren, Adam, Ben Cooper, Ethan, Jace, Ryan, Nick Cooper, Megan Morrow, Jimmy Lee Claphan, Adara Claphan, Cash and Chris Topinka.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association and sent to Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home, 528 North Main Street, Hutchinson, Kansas.
