We bid farewell to Joanne P Davies of Hutchinson, Kansas, born in York, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 21, 2025 at the age of 96. Joanne touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the sacred silence of farewell, Joanne is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Joanne's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her brother Ken; her husband Jack Davies; her daughters, Becky and Priscilla; and her caregivers, Donna, Lindsey, Marla and Kim.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Elliott Mortuary Chapel (1219 N Main St, Hutchinson, KS 67501). During Covid she found herself desperate to DO something so she began making teddy bears en masse.
