He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Summervill and Mildred Summervill (Bredemeier); and his brothers, Marion Summervill and Mick Summervill. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Cooper of Hutchinson; his children, Rodney Summervill (Carol) of Buhler and Jill Goertzen (Russ) of Buhler; his grandsons, Jacob Goertzen of Buhler, Joshua Goertzen of Manhattan, Justin Goertzen of Buhler and Jesse Goertzen of Buhler; his stepgrandchildren, Megan Anger, Ethan Caster and Dane Caster; his sister Sue Navrat (Dennis); and his sisters-in-law, Marge Summervill and Val Summervill. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Trinity United Methodist Church or the Summervill Family Scholarship at Emporia State University, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
