With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Paula R Carnes of Hutchinson, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 10, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Paula leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene Richard and Velma Lucille Field (Achilles); and her stepmother Helen Field. She is survived by: her siblings, Terry Field (Debbie), Russell Field and Stacy Lee (Bob); her stepchildren, Jerry Carnes Jr. (Gina) and Shane Carnes (Teresa); and her stepsister Yvette Korb (Steve). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the CrossPoint Church (1410 E 30th Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67502).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to CrossPoint Church or American Diabetes Association, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
