We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2021, at the age of 76, Richard Barta of Independence, Kansas, born in Hastings, Nebraska passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Barta to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Barta and Shirley Barta (Stewart); and his granddaughter Kacee McDade. He is survived by : his wife Joy Yung; his sons, Darin Barta (Cindy) and Travis Barta (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Lucas Barta, Eric McDade (Michelle) and TeeJay McDade (Chasidy); his great grandchildren, Damien, Rebecca, Hailey, Jonah and Tanner; and his sister Kiley Harris (Rick). He is also survived by many friends and the 4 legged friends.

Memorials are suggested to AWOL, FORPAZ and the KSU Foundation "Dr. Richard A. Barta Memorial Fund".
