She was predeceased by: her son Gage Thomas Porter; and her parents, Eileen Denney and Gene Denney. She is survived by: her friend Theta Johnson; her husband Lane Porter; her children, Barry, Cara Porter and Paul (Hayley) of Columbia, Maryland; her brother Bruce Denney (Stephanie) of Bella Vista, Arkansas; her parents-in-law, Sheryl Porter of Iola and Paul Porter (Toni) of Wichita, Kansas; her sister-in-law Lori Mann (Brek) of Aurora, Colorado; and her sibling's children, Alex Mann and Lexi Mann of Aurora, Colorado..

There will be no funeral service or burial at this time due to the pandemic, only cremation per Janice's wishes.
