It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Prather of Jamestown, Kansas, born in Dodge City, Kansas, who passed away on November 30, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Julius Neufeld (Jude) and Elsie Neufeld (Hiebert); her sister Vida; her brother-in-law Vernon Bartel; and her brother Melvin Neufeld.

She is survived by : her husband Vaughn Prather of Jamestown, KS; her children, Carl Prather (Kay) of Randall, KS, Leon Prather of Manhattan, KS and Julie Prather of Topeka, KS; her siblings, Karen Friesen (Elgie) of Wellington, CO and JD Neufeld (Sylvia) of Sand Springs, OK; and her sister-in-law Maxine Neufeld of Garden City, KS. She is also survived by six grandchildren, six step-granddaughters, and twenty great grandchildren.
