She was predeceased by: her parents, Eduardo Munoz and Maria Elizondo Munoz; her husband Manuel; her daughter Mary Elizabeth; and her siblings, Lilia Ortiz, Betty Chavez, Maude Espinosa, Josephine Villa, Hector Munoz, Thomas Espinosa, Joe Espinosa and Arthur Guiterrez.

She is survived by: her children, Rene'Mejia (Mary Mejia), Dr. Ronald Mejia and BeaMarie Mayer (Stephen Mayer); her grandchildren, Erica Mejia (Scott Nolf), Andrea Gabaldon (Jesse Gabaldon) and Benjamin Mejia (Megan Mejia); and her great grandchildren, Gabriela Gabaldon, Nicholas Gabaldon, Veronica Gabaldon, Mila Mejia, Benjamin Winston Mejia and Leni Mejia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Bishop Ward High School Manuel Mejia Scholarship fund or Ignatian Associates-Expansion.
