She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Pokaluk and Rose Pokaluk; her husbands, Daniel T. Gates, Sr. and Josiah J. Sullivan; her son Daniel T. Gates, Jr.; and her stepgrandson Evan Cowan.
She is survived by: her sons, Dennis (Sandra Gates), Ken (Mary Jo Gates) and Mark (Stacey Gates); her grandchildren, Ryan (Lisa Gates), Tyler (Hannah Gates), Michelle (Ben Clibon), Lisa (Isom YaDullah) and Ian Gates (Mia Gates); and her great grandchildren, Rosalyn, Felicity, Teddy, Griffin, Omari, Milayna and Addison. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and in-laws.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to St. Mary-St. Anthony Church in Kansas City, KS or Harvesters Community Food Network in Kansas City, MO.
