He was predeceased by: his parents, Truman Vernon and Nellie Mae Vernon (Hawken); and his brother Dennis Vernon. He is survived by: his wife Pat; and his daughters, Susan Meier (Steve), Cindy Holmes and Kathy Bain. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
