It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Fonda Rae Shipp of Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on August 6, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dessie Winfrey and Robert Teters; her stepfather Joe Winfrey; and her brother-in-law Ray Naylor. She is survived by: her husband Steve Shipp; her children, Tara Shipp (Danna Gilbert) and Kelsie Bice; her grandchildren, Ashton, Shea, Kaiden, Addi and Jasmine; her sister Carole Naylor; and her sister-in-law Judy Welch.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Butler Funeral Home (701 N 94th St, Kansas City, KS 66112).
