She is survived by : her children, Vinita S. Cannady of Kansas City, KS, Raymond I. Smith, Jr., Darryl M. Smith and D. C.; her granddaughter Adrianne Smith of Atlanta, GA; and her great grandchildren, Hailey, Harlem and Serenity of Atlanta, GA.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Thatcher's Funeral Chapel (1520 N 5th St, Kansas City, KS 66101). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at the Chapel Hill Cemetery (701 N 94th St, Kansas City, KS 66112).
