She was predeceased by : her parents, Asie Mahone, Sr. and Effie Deberry Mahone; and her siblings, Irene M. George and Asie Mahone, Jr.. She is survived by : her husband Albert E. Harper, Sr.; her daughters, Carmen O. Harper-Young of Tucson and Valerie J. Harper Cherry of Kansas City, Kansas.; and her grandchildren, Edward and Portia King. She is also survived by four grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 18 great-great grandchildren along with a host of close friends, relatives.
