It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Allen Yankovich (Kansas City, Kansas), who passed away on August 6, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Yankovich and Antoinette Yankovich (Gojmerac); his wife Carol Ann Kaminski; and his siblings, Michael Jr., Joseph, William, Mary Sims, Barbara Schnieders, Helen Zeto and Rose Marie Harris.
He is survived by: his children, James Yankovich II of Boca Raton, FL, Cynthia Yankovich (Kirk) and Lisa Covert (Geoff) of Naples, FL; his granddaughter Elyse Zauchenberger (Michael) of Overland Park, KS; and his great grandchild Theodore James Zauchenberger. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (1086 N 94th St, Kansas City, KS 66112). A Mass was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Jim's memory to St. Patrick Green Club or St. Patrick School, 1086 N. 94th St., Kansas City, Kansas 66112.
