He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura Cansler (McElwain) and Loman Cansler; his brother Philip Cansler; and his nephew Zachary Cansler-Kipp. He is survived by: his wife Debra Sue Bell (Debbie); his son Grant; his daughter-in-law Amber; his daughter Amber Benton (Adam Benton); his grandchildren, Ruthie Cansler and Charlie Joel; and his sister Myra Cansler.
When Covid allows, the family will be hosting a real barn burner of a bash somewhere in Kansas City.
