He is survived by: his wife Ruth F. Dietz; his children, Linda (Terry Walker), John Jr., Marilyn Bakarich, David (Carmen Bakarich), Diana Bowlin (Randy Norman) and Debbie (Denny Harrold); his grandchildren, Michelle (Charley Worley), John III (Melanie Bakarich), Jeff (Katie Bakarich), Josh Bakarich, Nicholas Bakarich, Ryan (Lisa Bowlin), Shea (Lindsey Bowlin), Miranda Bakarich and Maddie Harrold; and his great grandchildren, Casey, Max, Mason, Jack, Dane, Dax, Sophia of Charlotte, A. J., Dakota, Jag, Benjamin, Scarlett, Amelia, Gabe, Bella, Julian, Daniel and Cash.
