He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Reyes and Catherine Reyes (Delatorre); his wife Mary Lou; and his sister Terri Marquez. He is survived by : his sons, David Reyes of Las Cruces, NM, Anthony Reyes (Rachel) of Kansas City, KS, Robert Reyes of Kansas City, KS and Joseph Reyes, III (Erica) of Bonner Springs, KS; and his siblings, Ed Reyes (Pat), Cathy Hernandez (Chris), Rick Reyes and Rita Mabery. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter and many nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the Wounded Warriors.
