He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Bybee and Rose Bybee. He is survived by: his wife Linda Bybee; his daughters, Mary Detherage (Michael) and Emily Bybee; his grandchildren, Mariah Butler (Rodney), Morghan McGhee, MaKailee McGhee, TJ McGhee, Malachi Bybee and Jordan Detherage; his great grandchildren, Meilani Leon and Maliza Butler; his siblings, Dennis Bybee (Paula) and Kathleen Basham (Brian); his niece Holly Bybee; and his aunt Honey Michael. He is also survived by cousins, family members, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Riverview Event Space (804 Woodswether Rd, Kansas City, MO 64105).
